Proverbe sur le voleur / Proverb on the Thief

Poule / Hen

Où la poule a gratté longtemps, elle laisse une plume (proverbe Ruandais – Rwanda). – Un voleur laisse toujours derrière lui quelque trace.

Where the hen has scratched for a long time, she leaves a feather (Rwandan proverb – Rwanda). – A thief always leaves behind a clue.

  1. She looks just like one of my hens!

    • Ha ha ha… I am sure yours is giving you a lot of eggs

  2. Ooh! That’s a great proverb. It’s also very timely since I’ve been talking about art and music theft like how I had the story behind the Cameroonian Originality March yesterday and I have another reference to a stolen song from Africa tomorrow.
