I did get a bit of a chuckle with this proverb, but it’s still very useful and makes sense. Speaking of Gabon, did you hear that Samuel L. Jackson found out that he’s Gabonese and got citizenship in that country very recently?

This is actually very recent news that I found out possibly a couple of weeks ago. He did a DNA test and found out he has a big sample from the Benga tribe in Gabon, personally went to the country, found out about that ethnic group, and got citizenship in a very short time period. He’s also going to make a docuseries about the slave trade and I think he’s going to film parts of it in Gabon, if I’m not mistaken.
No problem! I thought you would appreciate this information on who is now the most famous Gabonese-American on the planet.

You’re welcome, Dr. Y.! I hope Samuel L. Jackson does well with the docuseries and can strengthen ties with Gabon let alone the continent.
