Funny, but true. I first got facial hair when I was in high school, so I guess I was an adult sooner according to this proverb even though I didn’t have a beard until college. Haha!
If you were growing up in the times of initiation in Africa, you would have been initiated by then, and would have gone from boyhood into the manhood class.
I guess so. It’s really interesting about that as a rite of passage for boys into becoming men. Maybe I would get a full beard and grow it out. Okay, I never tried it before unless you count my college days doing No Shave November, but that’s not enough time. Hahaha! 😛
